PS Vita 1000
This guide assumes you already have homebrew enabled PS Vita. There are 2 options for installing ARK4 on PS Vita. You can choose to install all of these options or only a select few:
- Adrenaline + ARK4
- ARK4 Launcher (via FasterArk) + ARK-X (PSX Loader)
Adrenaline + ARK4
Prerequisites:
- Custom Firmware v3.60->3.74
- Adrenaline
- Adrenaline Bubble Manager
PS Vita 2000
The below instructions will setup Adrenaline and Ark4 as separate applications that can be launched on PS Vita.
Open Adrenaline and access the following site from your PSP’s built-in Internet Browser:

The graphic on this site walks you through the process:
- On website, select “Download” to save the CFW to your PSP.
- Navigate to Game > Memory Stick (or Internal Memory on PSP Go).
- Run the ARK-4 Installer application. This will extract and move files around as needed.
- Run the ARK-4 Loader Application that was extracted on the previous step.
- Press the PS button 2 times to exit Adrenaline.
- Launch Adrenaline Bubble Manager
- Create a Bubble for Ark-4 Loader
ARK4 Launcher + ARK-X
Prerequisites:
- Custom Firmware v3.60->3.74
- VitaDeploy / VitaShell
- AutoPlugin II
- NoPspEmuDrm Plugin installed and Enabled <– If this is not installed, ARK-X will not install.
On your PC Download the latest ARK4 version:

Extract ark4.zip. Copy FasterARK.vpk to your PS Vita. Install FasterARK using VitaDeploy or VitaShell.
